Individual artists may only apply for one table.Artists who are not selected for a table are automatically added to the waitlist. We will inform all applicants by January 25th, 2023 via e-mail as to whether they’ve been selected for a table or are waitlisted. Please note that a limited amount of available Artist Alley spaces will be curated and NOT first come, first serve the order that we receive applications does not have an impact on whether you receive a table. Located in Kentia Hall, artists offer a variety of handmade creations for sale, including original artwork, prints, crafts, clothing, comics, and more. Remember to tap out when you exit! This will allow you to easily return through security without having to go to a Badge Help Desk.Creative minds and art enthusiasts are welcome to check out or participate in our Artist Alley, a venue where amateur and semi-professional artists showcase their work.Now that you have entered the event area, you can enjoy Anime Expo without having to go through multiple security checkpoints!.Wait for the green flashing light and beep before moving forward. Once you’re through security, proceed to an entry portal and “tap in” your badge.Please note: Clear bags, small clutch purses, and having fewer bags overall are highly recommended to decrease time spent at Security.If you have a bag, simply place it on the table for inspection.For more information about the Weapons Policy, please visit our Policies page. Weapon Check booths are located at each General Entrance and will both tag and re-inspect tags on weapons going into the event. If you are carrying a prop, you must go through the Weapons Check line every time you enter the convention center.Proceed through Security, choosing no bag line, general bag check line, or weapons check line as appropriate.Be sure to check the maps to get familiarized with them. Note: There are multiple entrances into the Anime Expo event areas.This will help reduce slowdowns in the building entry process. Make sure you have your badge on hand before you enter the security line.
